My first one-man exhibition, China in Hogarth’s England was generally acclaimed as one of the best guest exhibitions at the annual International Ceramics Fair and Seminar in London.  Accompanied by my book Hogarth’s China, it was sponsored by Royal Sun Alliance Insurance commemorating William Hogarth’s 1997 Tercentenary and was repeated two years later at Wedgwood.
In 2006-7 I devised and guest curated three simultaneous exhibitions for York Museum Trust under the collective title Celebrating Ceramics.  They ran in York Art Gallery and Museum, the Wakefield Museum and Gallery and in Scarborough.
