For confidential advice on matters relating to the identification/attribution, purchase, care and disposal of Ceramics and Oriental Works of Art - as well as for Art in general - I charge a per diem fee.  I will visit and/or discuss your needs prior to commencing the work.  Where required (and again, only with the client’s prior consent)  I may be necessary to enlist the advice of other consultants in order to complete the work to a high standard - especially where a client or their executors may require help with relation to capital gains, to transfer or inheritance taxes.  After working for more than 30 years in the art world, I can draw on a network of highly regarded and confidential specialists in all fields of art.

Clients include private individuals, museums and other institutions.

I also undertake purchase commissions on a perdiem (rather than a percentage basis)

One-off identification from pictures (photos or email images) will be charged at £50 per item but are subject to the usual disclaimers relating to opinions based on pictures alone.
