I speak to a wide range of societies, clubs and institutions on special occasions.  The subject matter is usually informal, drawing on various aspects of my work within and beyond the media.  I also organize “ice-breakers”  - quizzes or similar challenges guaranteed to encourage mixing – as well as conducting charity auctions or raffles. 
The auction of half a dozen lots at the recent Charity Ball of the British Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai, raised over 500,000 RMB (£50,000)
